Jamie’s Celebration
Blossom took a side trip to celebrate the Bar Mitzvah of a wonderful young person! Jamie had the time of her life and when I watch this highlight video, I want to be a teen again.
We made our second trip to the Radnor Valley Country Club this season and witnessed the amazing work of Evantine Design. Just stunning.
Wishing you all a wonderful, romantic holiday season…And when you hear wedding bells, you know where to find us.
No commentsSeason wrap-up
The end of the fall is a significant time for us. With the bulk of our weddings completed, we are now delivering the edited DVDs to happy clients. Our summer was filled with shooting events at places which included Andalusia, The Park Hyatt at the Bellevue, Seaview Resort & Spa, Radnor Valley Country Club-just to name a few!
In 2010, we will be customizing our DVD packaging to the themes (and colors) of our client’s special day…working on promo videos for some our favorite Philadelphia wedding vendors…as well as, booking wedding and events for the new year!
Jennifer and Erik’s day was one of the most beautiful weddings that we have captured. The ceremony and reception were at a private home right outside of Centreville, DE. I was so amazed at the landscape upon my arrival that I had to shoot while driving (hence, the opening shot!). Best Wishes to Jennifer & Erik.
Christina & Jonathan: Brantwyn Mansion
Christina and Jon were recently married in Wilmington, DE. Two more firsts for us: Shooting at Brantwyn Estate and covering a Greek wedding-so beautiful! All day long there was no doubt that these two were having a blast and enjoying every moment. We made some friends and ran into some old ones too….Sabrina Andrews of Blushing Bride guided us through the day with her excellent planning. Synergetic Sounds provided all the lighting design and party set-up.
One last note…this highlight video took on special meaning for Christina-her mother was not feeling well prior to the reception and had to leave unexpectedly. We were happy to share with her mother the moments that she missed.
No commentsMeredith & Michael’s Celebration at Andalusia
We recently delivered Meredith and Michael’s highlight video to rave reviews….
“You outdid yourself!! This is an AMAZING little video!! Mike and I watched it together tonight & we both had tears rolling down our faces by the end…We just LOVE it!! The song is perfect and the video really captures the mood and highlights of our night! We keep saying that our wedding went by in a flash – we are so happy you were there to capture our day so that we can now take time to appreciate the fun and details after the fact!” -Meredith, email on 10/4/09
Their reception was held at Andalusia, a national landmark. The grounds were breathtaking-a picturesque opportunity for shooting was everywhere. I knew about Marie Labbancz’s stunning photography and was thrilled to finally have the opportunity to meet her as well.
It’s a challenge to sum up the day in three minutes but, I think we succeeded here. Meredith wanted there to be a Great Gatsby elegance and feel to the day. Conveying that through video was my pleasure!
No commentsBlossom’s participating in Soiree in the City
We are thrilled to be participating in one of THE most exciting bridal and style events that Philadelphia has to offer! On Sunday, September 20, style + wedding fuse together at Soiree in the City.

The event was founded by Laura Eaton (of Laura Eaton Photography) and Béke Beau as an “alternative to the typical bridal show”. So, you image why this is worth attending!
We’ll be shooting the event as well as sharing information on Blossom Productions. Hope to see you there!
Sara & Scott’s enchanted forest wedding
Sara and Scott were married at The Radnor Valley Country Club and every moment of the day was just thrilling and emotional. As videographers, there were spectacular sights and sounds to capture at every corner!
One of the most breathtaking elements were the flowers and lighting arranged by Petah Beshano of Alvin’s Flowers. They created an enchanted forest -you must see the huppah in the ceremony! We also worked with the Janis Nowlan Band again-turns out Janis performed at Sara’s Bat Mitzvah when she was 13. Sara’s dress has particular meaning as well…it was her mother’s dress for her wedding to Sara’s father.
We feel so fortunate that we had the chance to capture their day. Sara and Scott have been together for over 8 years and music is an important part of their relationship. Sara gave me a great collection of songs for their video-the song you hear in the four minute, highlight video is by Imogen Heap.

Brittney & Bryce’s Highlight Video
At Brittney and Bryce’s wedding, we experienced two Blossom FIRSTS:
Never have I heard so many gasps and sniffles during a bride’s walk down the aisle. It was incredibly moving….AND…There was both rain and sun during the processional. You can see both as Brittney appears. It was pretty surreal-there must have been rainbows in the sky, for sure.
In spite of the rain, we walked away with pretty incredible footage (and memories)! Another gentleman following the action was Jeff Wojtaszek of Jeff Wojtaszek Photography (you’ve got to see his pics on his blog). Thanks to Brian Latocha of Toner Sound Entertainment Group, we had a packed dance floor to shoot all evening!
Diana and James in HD
The 2009 wedding season is starting off with a bang! While we have a full schedule ahead of us, we still have some dates still available!
One of more recent HD shoots was for Diana and James’ wedding reception at the Radnor Hotel. We enjoyed every minute of our day. We had a blast working with Laura and Paul Eaton of Laura Eaton Photography. I must thank them for their fabulous composition of several shots.
Diana’s attention to the details of her wedding (colors, symbols, tradition etc.) were impeccable and we made sure to capture everything. We also shot her prep where there happened to be a lot of family present-the support and love for this couple was very evident and my goal was to make sure we conveyed this. Here’s the 3 minute highlight video (in HD) so, feel free to check it out for yourself!
No commentsHighlight Video of US! Made for Reframe ‘09-a fabulous, professional experience!
I just returned from one of the most fun and educational experiences in my professional career. I attended ReFrame, a 3 day event for wedding filmmakers from all over the world. It was the best opportunity to meet other wedding videographers while using the newest and most innovative tools for event video/film.
I am always eager to improve my business and to learn more-especially when I’m learning from someone who’s made their distinctive mark in this industry. The workshops were full of energetic, creative types who really dig making wedding videos. Imagine that!
We were asked to produce a BTS (Behind-the-Scenes) clip of “Who” makes up our studio… I felt it was necessary to mention that there was a time I would have traveled the world for tv…today, I am grateful for where that path has landed me-right here in Philly!
Featuring guest appearances from all my boys (and me)…enjoy!
No commentsOne of the reasons I love what I do…
Every once in a while, I will have to share the rave reviews we receive from our customers…or “my couples” as I like to call the people we work with. So much time, energy, thought and creavitivity goes into the videos we produce and it means a lot to hear that our work is valued and appreciated.
I have edited all events from the 2008 season and am presently receiving a lot of wonderful feedback. I am pretty humble when it comes to my colorful television and videography career however, I do tend tend to express a great deal of enthusiasm when I realize that I should be doing EXACTLY what I am doing when it comes to Blossom.
A couple who shared much of my enthusiasm was Alison and Dennis-
A word from Dennis ….”Ok. Let me first start out by saying that you are VERY good at what you do Alicia. This is simply amazing. Thank you so much. I mean, it is better than we could have imagined. Thank you again.“…And now from Alison….”Oh my god! The video is AMAZING! We are so extremly thrilled with how it came out and how you weaved it all together. It was so neat to relive the whole day and see things that we didn’t even realize happened or were said. The narrative from our family members is absolutely priceless and we love how our love story came out! I can’t wait to watch it again. We are going to be sharing this with our family this weekend! Thanks so much!!“
Check out what they’re talking about on the Reel page of our site!
